Smile For A Cause

As part of our ongoing commitment to our community, we are excited to introduce a special initiative that we have launched as of 1st July 2023.

All recall consultations will be capped at $25, whereby the entirety of your payment will be donated to one of four carefully selected charities. We believe that giving back to the community is an essential aspect of our mission, and this initiative allows us to contribute to causes that align with our values.

By choosing our services, not only will you receive quality care, but you will also indirectly support important charitable work.

We have carefully selected these four charities based on their dedication to making a difference in the world. They are Hutt St Centre, The Pink Elephants Support Network, WCH Foundation and McGrath Foundation.

Pink Elephants:

The Pink Elephants Support Network is a charity that provides meaningful connections that offer empathy and understanding to those experiencing early pregnancy loss and fertility challenges.

McGrath Foundation

Our mission is to ensure that no one goes through breast cancer without care. 1 in 5 of them will miss out this year. Behind every diagnosis is a person and a family.

Hutt St Centre

Hutt St Centre is a place of hope and opportunity, helping people facing homelessness to rebuild their lives, without judgement.

WCH Foundation

The Women's & Children's Hospital Foundation (WCH Foundation) improves the health and wellbeing of women, children and families under the care of the Women's and Children's Hospital and its associated Health Network.

We are Hutt St Heroes!

Each year we continue to look for ways to support our local community, and our involvement with the Hutt St Centre, through their Hutt St Heroes initiative, is just one way we show our support.

From morning teas, 'walk a mile in my boots' walkathons, to donation matching by our generous doctors - making a difference to the homelessness of Adelaidians matters to us.

In fact, since first committing to supporting this charity in 2016, Straight Smile Centre fundraising efforts total $43185.55! (and counting!)

Hutt St Centre is a place of connection and support, where people facing homelessness are empowered to rebuild their lives, rediscover their identities and reconnect with those who love them.

We walk alongside people on their journey toward homefulness —a word we use to describe the feeling of safety, control and confidence that comes with having a place to call home.

When people walk through our doors we help fulfil their immediate needs, like a shower, a meal, and a charged phone, while our 20+ visiting services provide support ranging from medical check-ups to financial counselling.

And with a focus on the future, we connect people with housing, education and employment opportunities to build the skills and confidence to change their circumstances for good.

We believe in a society that grants all people an equal chance to live a full life. And until that happens, Hutt St Centre will continue to be the voice for systematic change. Through our active advocacy, our fundraising initiatives, our unrelenting support and our culture of ingrained respect, we are bringing an end to the injustice we see in our city.
